How to read the result

Technical

Profit factor = total gains ÷ total losses. Win rate = wins ÷ (wins + losses).

Plain English

A 40% win rate can still make money if the wins are much bigger than the losses. Profit factor shows which.

Technical

Option P&L per leg = (premium to close − premium to open) × contracts × 100, reversed for a leg you sold.

Plain English

A premium of 2.10 is US$210 a contract. The form does the multiplying and adds the legs up.

Technical

The max loss you planned sits beside each result, and the calendar marks holidays, expiries and earnings.

Plain English

The point is to see whether you kept to your plan, and what else was happening that day.

A worked example

A bull call spread: buy one 580 call for 6.20 and sell one 590 call for 2.10, both expiring 20 Nov 2026. The net debit is US$410, which is also the most it can lose at expiry; the most it can make is US$590. Closed at 7.90 and 3.00, the legs make +US$170 and −US$90, so the trade makes +US$80 before fees.

What it can't tell you

  • It records what happened. It can't tell you whether an edge will last.
  • Trades live in this browser only. Clearing site data or changing device loses them unless you keep a backup file.
  • Currency is a label. Nothing is converted between US$ and S$.
  • The expiry payoff assumes every leg is held to one expiry. It ignores early assignment and dividends.
  • Holiday and earnings dates are a dated snapshot. Check with the exchange or the company before relying on one.
